I find with some books the personalities of the girls are hard to discern. You get from A to B, C, and D character-wise very quickly, and that is fine as far as things go, but it is nice sometimes to take things slower. Maybe readers are impatient these days, I am not sure. These days it seems like a lot of harem series are quick on the draw.
